Confirmed

Is BioEden on Game Pass?

Not announced. There has been no statement from Focus Entertainment, Broken Arms Games or Microsoft that BioEden is or will be on Xbox Game Pass.

This is one of the most searched BioEden questions and it deserves a straight answer rather than speculation: as of launch, BioEden is a $19.99 premium purchase on Xbox. If that changes, it will appear on our news page.

It is worth noting that BioEden launched simultaneously on four platforms as a paid title, which is not the usual shape of a Game Pass launch title. Draw your own conclusions, but treat any claim that it *is* on Game Pass as unverified until an official source says so.

Xbox Series S considerations

BioEden's PC requirements are modest — 8 GB RAM and 4 GB VRAM at minimum, with a 3 GB install — and its stylised art style is low-complexity. On paper there is no reason for the Series S version to be compromised.

The caveat that applies to every management game on Series S is UI legibility at lower output resolutions rather than raw performance. BioEden has dense building tooltips with multiple icon-value pairs and a Bestiary showing per-species temperature and humidity bands. If you play Series S on a smaller display, that is the thing to watch, not frame rate.

No independent analysis of either console build exists yet.

Should you buy BioEden on Xbox?

Buy it on Xbox if consoles are where you play and you want this on a television with a controller. Full controller support is confirmed on the Steam listing, so the pad control scheme is a designed feature rather than an afterthought, and the game's slow, no-fail-state pacing suits couch play unusually well.

Buy it on PC instead if you want to try before paying. The free Steam demo covers the full tutorial and there is no equivalent on Xbox. Mouse control also genuinely helps with hex-grid tile selection and reading BioEden's small numbers.

Content is identical across platforms.

Getting started on Xbox

1. Pick your guild — Euler forgives the most first-campaign mistakes, and there is no

confirmed way to switch later.

1. Survey and salvage before building anything.
2. Learn the camera controls properly — misjudged placement caused by the camera is the

most common early mistake, and it is worse on a pad.

1. Read pollution and Impact Level before you accept a Collective Request asking you to

build industry.
