BioEden released on 3 September 2026 across all four platforms simultaneously. There was no timed PC exclusivity and no staggered console rollout — PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 all launched on the same day.

Unlock times by region

Focus Entertainment has not published a per-region unlock schedule for BioEden, and we are not going to estimate one. A wrong unlock time is the kind of number that has people refreshing a store page at the wrong hour.

Use the authoritative source instead: open the BioEden Steam store page and read the countdown there. Steam renders it in your own local time, converted from the publisher's configured release moment, so it is correct for wherever you are without any arithmetic on your part. If the game has already released in your region, the countdown is replaced by a purchase button — which is its own answer.

For consoles, unlock timing is handled by each storefront rather than by the publisher:

Why the simultaneous launch matters

Simultaneous multi-platform launches from a mid-size European publisher are not universal, and for BioEden it signals something useful about the console versions: they were developed alongside the PC build rather than ported afterwards. Full controller support and DualSense support both appear as store categories on the Steam listing, which is consistent with a game designed for a controller from the start rather than adapted for one.

For a management game, that matters. Controller-hostile menu design is the usual failure mode when a PC builder arrives late on consoles, and there is no sign of that here.

Was there a pre-order bonus?

No pre-order exclusive content has been documented. The 9% launch discount applied to pre-purchases and remained available at launch. There is no announced deluxe edition, season pass, or physical release.

Release date history

BioEden was announced with a September 2026 window and confirmed for 3 September across PC and consoles ahead of launch, with a playable demo appearing on Steam before release. Coverage of the announcement ran across Gematsu, VGChartz, Niche Gamer, GameWatcher, Nintendo Everything and Worthplaying, and the game was shown in a gameplay trailer at the FutureGames Live Show. The date did not slip.

What to do on release day

1. Try the demo first if you are undecided. It is free, it covers the full tutorial, and it is the fastest way to know whether the core loop is for you. Note that demo saves do not carry over.
