BioEden Wiki & Guide is an independent, fan-made resource for BioEden, the cozy management game developed by Broken Arms Games and published by Focus Entertainment. It is not affiliated with either company.
Why this site exists
Most of what was written about BioEden before launch was recycled from the same press release, and most of what was written after it was written quickly. This site was built the other way around: starting from the questions players were actually asking, and answering them with values we could verify.
Two examples of what that means in practice:
- The Carnivore Feeder has its own page because it is one of the most common
BioEden searches and was one of the most active threads on the official Steam forum — not because a keyword tool suggested it.
- The animals database lists DNA costs of 3, 5, 7, 10 and 20 because those numbers are legible in an
official Bestiary screenshot. Where they were not legible, the cell is empty.
Editorial policy
1. Every number has a source. Values on this site come from the official Steam store page, Focus Entertainment's official BioEden page, official screenshots, or the official reveal trailer. Where a value comes from an official screenshot, we say so on the page.
2. Unconfirmed means unconfirmed. If something has not been published — console frame rates, Steam Deck verification, the climate bands of species other than Landowl — we write that it is not published. We do not fill a table with plausible-looking numbers, because a wrong temperature band costs a reader a dome.
3. We do not copy other wikis. Where another fan site has covered the same ground, we have written our own material from primary sources rather than paraphrasing theirs. Where our conclusions differ from theirs, that is usually because we went back to a screenshot.
4. We correct things. If a value here is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed. If a patch changes a published number, we update the page and note it on the news page. A guide quoting a value the game no longer uses is worse than no guide.
5. We label inference. Where we draw a conclusion rather than report a fact — for example, mapping guild names to the Mystic, Exploration and Technology archetypes seen in Collective Requests — we mark it as an inference rather than presenting it as confirmed.
What we use official material for
This site reproduces BioEden screenshots and links to the official reveal trailer for identification, illustration and commentary. Screenshots are served from Valve's own content delivery network rather than re-hosted here, and the trailer is embedded from its official YouTube channel and only loads when you click it.
All BioEden artwork, screenshots, trademarks and game content remain the property of Broken Arms Games and Focus Entertainment. If a rights holder would like something removed or attributed differently, contact us and we will act promptly.
Who runs this
BioEden Wiki & Guide is run by a small independent team at hunt-games.com. We build focused reference sites for games we actually play, and we would rather publish forty accurate pages than four hundred padded ones.
How you can help
The single most useful contribution is a screenshot. The Jungle species roster is documented because it appears in official material; the Forest, Prairie, Savannah and Tundra rosters are not public.
If you can screenshot a Bestiary card showing a species' Temperature, Humidity and Animal and Plant Required values — or a building tooltip showing its Effects and Material required — send it in. It goes into the animals database and the temperature and humidity chart with a credit.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the official BioEden website?
No. This is an independent fan wiki with no affiliation to Broken Arms Games or Focus Entertainment. The official pages are the Steam store page and Focus Entertainment's BioEden page.
Where do your numbers come from?
The official Steam store page, Focus Entertainment's official page, official screenshots and the official reveal trailer. Where a value has not been published, we leave it blank rather than guessing.
