Is there a BioEden subreddit?
Not a significant one at the time of writing. This is one of the most common BioEden searches and the honest answer is that community activity has concentrated on the official Steam board and Discord rather than Reddit.
That may change — games often develop a Reddit presence weeks after launch as the initial wave of players finishes their first run. If a substantial subreddit forms, we will list it here.
The Steam discussion board is the useful one
If you take one recommendation from this page: the official Steam discussion board is where the real information is. During the demo period it generated the questions that shaped much of this wiki:

Every one of those is a genuine, specific problem, and several have developer or community answers attached. Before you post a new thread, search the board — there is a good chance your question is already answered.
How to ask a good BioEden question
Small-studio launch windows reward specific reports. A useful post includes:
- Your platform. PC, PS5, Xbox or Switch 2. Answers differ.
- What you were doing immediately before the problem.
- A screenshot of the full screen, not a crop. Missing UI is often the point.
- For performance issues: your CPU, GPU, driver version and whether the game is on an SSD. BioEden specifies an
SSD in both requirement tiers and this resolves a surprising share of reports.
- What you have already ruled out. "I tried everything" gets less help than a list.
Contributing to this wiki
This site has a specific gap it would like help closing. The Jungle roster is documented because it appears in official screenshots — Landowl's 20–45° and 55–90% bands, the DNA costs of 3, 5, 7, 10 and 20. The Forest, Prairie, Savannah and Tundra rosters are not public.
If you are playing BioEden and can screenshot a Bestiary card showing a species' Temperature, Humidity and Animal and Plant Required values, send it to us. It goes into the animals database and the temperature and humidity chart with a credit. The same goes for building tooltips with their Effects and Material required values.
That is genuinely how this site gets finished. We would rather leave a cell empty than fill it with a guess, which means the table only grows when someone verifies something.

Patch notes appear on the Steam store page news feed first. We track meaningful changes on our news page, and update the affected wiki pages when a patch changes a number — because a guide that quotes a value the game no longer uses is worse than no guide at all.
